Does the Versa Light come with dye?

The Versa Light includes the UV flashlight, safety glasses, carrying case, battery and chargers — but not dye. Add any Fluoro-Dye A/C, coolant or oil dye, or choose an MPD™ Start-Up Kit to get the light and dye together.

How do I switch it to UV mode?

Press the switch three times to cycle high / low / off for white light; hold one long press at any brightness to enter UV mode — no repeated cycling needed.

Is it rechargeable, and how?

Yes. It runs on an included 18650 3500 mAh Li-ion battery and charges via the included USB-C cable and 110V wall charger. A built-in indicator shows green above 70% charge and red below 30%.

Is it durable enough for shop and field use?

The Versa Light is IPX4 water-resistant, shockproof and all-weather rated, so it holds up in rain, snow and tough working conditions.
